Savannah College of Art and Design
A cinematic portrait of photographer Claire Rosen—built around the right subject, editorial voice, and brand partnership to extend the story far beyond the film itself.

The Opportunity
SCAD set out to create a short film celebrating the imaginative work of one of its alumni. The opportunity was larger than producing a beautiful story. With the right subject and collaborators, the film could also become a platform for editorial interest, brand alignment, and expanded visibility.
My Role
As a producer, my primary contribution was assembling the people and partnerships that would give the film both creative strength and greater reach. I developed and pitched potential alumni subjects—including photographer Claire Rosen, who was ultimately selected—then helped build the collaboration around her story.
I brought Refinery29's Annie Georgia Greenberg into the project and helped align SCAD with Hasselblad, connecting the film with partners whose editorial authority, creative relevance, and audiences could meaningfully extend its visibility.
Strategic Approach
Find the right story
Identify alumni whose work could carry a visually compelling film while naturally expressing SCAD's creative point of view. Claire Rosen's imaginative photographic practice offered both narrative depth and a distinctive visual world.
Add editorial perspective
Engage Annie Georgia Greenberg of Refinery29 to bring an established editorial voice and culturally relevant perspective to the collaboration.
Build visibility into the partnership
Align with Hasselblad to strengthen the film's creative credibility and create opportunities for the story to reach relevant audiences beyond SCAD's owned channels.
The Film
The short film follows SCAD alumna and photographer Claire Rosen as she transforms a whimsical concept into an intricately constructed photoshoot. The resulting story offers a window into her creative process and the imaginative possibilities of a SCAD education.
The Impact
The collaboration brought together a distinctive alumna, an influential editorial voice, and a globally recognized camera brand. The result was more than a premium film: it was a story supported by credible partners and designed from the outset to generate visibility across multiple audiences and channels.
